Cairo: Egypt’s Crazy Capital

From Aswan, go see the temples of Abu Simbel. They were carved out of rock and moved after Lake Nasser was made.

Sharm El-Sheikh, on the Sinai Peninsula, is great for diving, snorkeling, and soaking up the sun. Ras Mohammed National Park’s coral reefs are some of the best, with colorful sea life and clear water.

Hurghada: Easy Red Sea Vacation
Up the coast, Hurghada is a calm beach place good for families, new divers, and people who want a cheaper resort vacation. You can find all-inclusive deals, take trips to Giftun Islands, and do things like quad biking, camel rides, and desert trips.
It’s also a good spot to learn about Bedouin culture and explore the desert.
White Desert: A Weird Natural Place
For something different, go to the White Desert National Park. The wind has carved the rocks into weird shapes that look like you’re on the moon. It’s near Farafra Oasis and is great for camping, looking at stars, and taking photos.
